Our mission is to relentlessly pursue unity and development of the people of Mbiokporo 2 in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

In April 2007 the sons and daughters of Mbiokporo II in Nsit Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom residing in the United States of America came together and formed an Association called Mbiokporo II Development Asssociation USA Inc.
The first convention of the Association was held in Miami, USA, in June 2007. During our Friday night business meeting, we brainstormed on a number of projects that would have an immediate impact on the lives of the villagers and the surrounding villages. Of all the topics and projects discussed and debated on, healthcare delivery was unanimously agreed upon as the undertaking that would have an immediate palpable impact on their lives. We believed then and now that building a medical clinic would provide us with a facility to deliver quality health care and treat some common ailments plaguing the community. Preventive medicine, basic hygiene and family planning were also discussed.
In November 2009, Mbiokporo 2 Development Association USA laid the foundation for the medical clinic. On February 2014, the medical center building project was completed. Through strategic partnerships and collaborative efforts, we work to enhance quality of life by supporting education, healthcare, economic empowerment, infrastructure, and civic engagement.
