Conduct annual medical mission trips to educate the people and to provide community health care access to those populations most in need.
Our Association has conducted three medical missions to Mbiokporo 2 with successful outcomes. In one of the medical missions, three (3) patients reported to suffer of severe headache and attributed the cause to witchery. Upon examination, it was discovered that all of them had severe hypertension. These patients were given two different types of blood pressure medications to better manage their elevated blood pressure.
In addition to hypertension, many other ailments were treated during the medical missions. At its last medical mission trip in November 2015, free reading glasses and vitamins were also made available to the patients.
